The 28th annual Corks & Chefs: A Taste of Birmingham will be held April 26 & 27 at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, presented by Kinetic Communications, the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Magic City Art Connection.

Corks & Chefs is an explosion of flavors, and the place where the culinary arts are paired with wine, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and tasting seminars at the 42nd Magic City Art Connection contemporary art festival at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama. This popular outdoor tasting event was the first of its kind to hit the Birmingham scene. It's covered, and teeming with patrons sampling delicious dishes from Birmingham restaurants and chefs alongside wine, craft beer, spirit, and tasting seminars. MCAC is a 501c3 non-profit festival and sole recipient of all funds received through grants, donations, fees, ticket revenues and in-kind support. Corks & Chefs profits help support Imagination Festival, which serves 3rd & 4th grade students from visiting schools on Friday plus families and children over the 3-day weekend through interactive workshops and art experiences that engage their creativity, imaginations, and cognitive skills.
